How to share your scans with Pocketshare

Scanbot and Pocketshare is a dream team for scanning and sharing documents in local network. Once configured, Scanbot automatically uploads all scans to Pocketshare and makes them accessible in local network.

Consider, that if you change the WebDAV port number in Pocketshare, you should reconfigure the connection in Scanbot. If you activated user authentication in Pocketshare, use your credentials for connection. If not, you can login as “anonymous” use a random password in this case.

Many multifunction printers offer “scan to e-mail” or “scan to FTP” function. The latter can be used to scan documents right to your Pocketshare. Use Pocketshare’s dashboard to get your IP address and the FTP port number and use them for the configuration.
